Trees for Africa

Wells for Africa

ATI is committed to equipping men and women who will change their villages, communities and nations. They will be helped to recognize and appreciate the vast potential available in Africa: natural resources, human resources and rich heritage of spiritual and moral values. Lasting change in Africa will require a change of mind.

African ATI leaders have developed a curriculum entitled "WorldView Transformation", a 3-day course that examines the biblical view of concepts as basic as mankind, history, work, wealth, family and time. Biblical teaching is compared and contrasted to secular and animistic ways of thinking that, instead of empowering, have bound humanity in false beliefs and futile lifestyles.

Lasting change can be realized in Africa when individuals, who have experienced a change of heart and a change of mind, influence society toward a Kingdom mentality. Africa needs a paradigm shift – a people who will not see themselves as helpless victims but rather as potential change agents that can bring about positive results in their own lives as well as society.

We need transformation

Paul writes to the Romans in Chapter 12 verse 2: “Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world. But be ye transformed by the renewing of your minds.” Unless we renew our thinking, our feelings and our actions, we remain just undeveloped potential.

The WorldView Transformation curriculum includes the following topics:

  • Biblical Worldview
  • Ideas have Consequences
  • The Kingdom of God
  • Hope for Africa
  • Discipling Nations
  • Jesus’ Development Model
  • Breaking the Spirit of Poverty
  • Prosperity with a Purpose

Participants are assisted to initiate “seed projects,” which are tangible expressions of the outreach of God’s love in their communities.
